We specialise in producing screen and digitally printed fabric on a bespoke basis for TV, Theatre, Fashion artists, Art events, Interiors and the Hospitality & Leisure Industry.

There are many different processes offered by Frank Layton. Each has unique benefits to suit different types of fabric, how it is going to be used and the requirements of the client. For example the client might want the fabric to be used for a one day event. On the other hand the client might require a garment to be suitable for use as part of their uniform and last for years.

Ultimate colour range

Photowear

Virtually indestructable the inks are turned into gas that bond with the fibres of the cloth. The subsequent print feels exactly like the fabric. Suitable for white polyester fabrics. An excellent process for photographic images or text.

Kolaidescope

Workwear transfers created inhouse suitable for clothing that require washing at high temperatures and are worn every day. Colour matching available.

Cutwear

Washable at high temperatures some solutions can be ironed and dry cleaned. Please ask to see our range of colours. Suitable for solid colours.

Dare to wear range

Wear and go

Good for a 100 washes available in a wide variety of colours. Good photographic reproduction, suiable for halftone and solid colours

Photo white

Images must be ironed to keep their clarity, good for short term use, such as one- off events. Excellent reproduction of photographic images onto white or light fabrics

Direct Print

Direct print means that the print is put directly onto the garment

Screen Print

Our screen print is long lasting and washable. When we print on coloured shirts Layton use inks that have a high impact and a raised feel to the print, on light or white coloured fabrics we use inks where the print feels like the fabric it is printed on.

Large format Digital

Printed by ink jet directly onto a variety of white fabrics using eco solvent inks. Please see our material list for further information -material list or an example of printed flag material suitable for interior or exterior use dependent on the choice of fabric.
